Custom Designed English Tudor Dollhouses

We are proud to display our unique line of wooden English Tudor Dollhouses that are truly made by hand in England. Each house is custom made, no two are alike and they are made in the fashion of the old timber frame houses with wooden pegs. Each house is designed with using the following standard features:

•  Each floor of the dollhouse is wired for individual lights, so you can can choose which floors or any combination of floors that you want to light up at any one time.
• All of the floor boards are individually laid and are made of solid timber, which has been detailed with joints and nail holes, and then stained and varnished.
• All of the leaded light windows are hand made using a liquid lead product, which is applied in a 2 layered process to give a raised relief to them, as oppose to the standard flat printed acetate that is often used.
• The windows also have handmade casement stays and handles fitted to them.
• All the roofs, paving and chimneys are hand sculptured, and then receive finishing coats of color and varnish to create not only an aged look but also so that again they are unique.
• To replicate how timber frame houses were originally built, we have included wooden pegs to the outside of the house at the points where they would have been pegged together. These houses have about 120 pegs, each one cut, drilled, stained and fitted by hand.
